Boat Inn Doncaster Wedding

In August I had the pleasure of capturing the wedding day of Amy and Tom. Their Boat Inn Doncaster Wedding was an intimate wedding day involving close family and friends. Both Amy and Tom live and work as teachers in Dubai but came home to get married. Despite a smaller wedding, they both knew photography was important to them and wanted my relaxed, documentary style wedding photography to capture their day.

Speaking to Amy and Tom about their Boat Inn Doncaster Wedding, it was clear the day was going to run a little differently. The ceremony was at 10:30am and it was actually the first time I have been at the Registry Office before it even opened! The couple looked amazing and it was clear the day was going to be very relaxed from the start.

After the ceremony at Doncaster Registry Office and a few family photos, we headed to The Boat Inn near Doncaster. A lovely small pub next to the canal. It was my first time at this venue and it was a lovely setting with amazing weather. I spent most of the day capturing natural, candid photographs of the couple and guests. I did take the couple off though for a little walk near the canal and took some couple portraits for a short period before heading back to the pub.

The boat Inn is a lovely relaxed venue. It fits perfectly with the feel of the day, a small, intimate wedding with a relaxed couple. The venue had special meaning to Amy who used to visit when she was younger and she loved being back to celebrate her wedding day with Tom.

This was an early finish for me with the ceremony being so early but it was so nice to spend the day with Amy and Tom. Both the couple and their guests were amazing and so welcoming. I want to say a huge thanks to Amy and Tom and all their friends and family for having me along on the day.
