Villa Farm York Wedding

I had been looking forward to this wedding since I first met Lauren and Calem. They were so relaxed and such a lovely couple, I couldn’t wait for the wedding. Villa Farm York seemed like a great choice, plenty of fields, stunning barn setting and a relaxed environment, this fit Lauren and Calem perfectly.

A lot of the styling was DIY by Lauren and Calem themselves, from small cactus name cards to gin bottle table centres. The barn at Villa Farm York looked great. I love the size of the venue, you have plenty of space in the barn and everything is in the one room.

The other thing I love about Villa Farm is the surroundings. Although it is really close to Clifton Moore shopping park and not far from the centre of York it is surrounded by fields. They have plenty of accommodation as well, sleeping over 100 in the onsite villas.

August was a funny month for the weather with some heavy rain and some of the warmest weather this year! Lauren and Calem had some lovely weather, which allowed them to make the most of the venue and have an outdoor ceremony.

The wedding was so much fun, from the speeches to the dancing, the couple lived up to their relaxed nature and I enjoyed capturing this wedding in my documentary style.
